Murray River Council’s new Mayor elected

Murray River Council has welcomed new leadership - Cr Frank Crawley elected as Mayor and Cr Neil Gorey Deputy Mayor.
Despite the changes, Cr said, “we remain a positive team well equipped to deal with challenges and opportunities."
The current council term ends next year, with Murray River Council elections scheduled for September 2024.

Echuca goaler Sheridan Townrow wins second grand final MVP award

Echuca brought the house down at Deakin Reserve during a 35-31 grand final triumph over Euroa.
Sheridan Townrow shot nine in the final term, 22 of Echuca's 35 goals altogether.
She was the ending point to many of the Murray Bombers’ fleeting moves, claiming the most-valuable-player award.
