25-year Sister City relationship comes to an end

The Campaspe Shire Council has called an official end to its 25-year Sister City relationship with Shiroi, Japan.
Although the decision was supported unanimously by the councillors, there was some pushback by Cr Adrian Weston.
Sister City was established to provide cultural diversity, economic development and growth, and skilled migration.

Kids Fun Day highlights Ready, Teddy, Go! exhibition

Echuca Historical Society staged a ‘Kids Fun Day’ as part of the Ready, Teddy Go! exhibition last Wednesday.
The day delighted youth and adults young at heart, seeing the display of teddies from the 1920s to the present day.
The museum is planning on another exhibition celebrating Echuca’s nautical history.

Ash Mangan claimed her sixth A-grade premiership in the Goulburn Valley League when Echuca triumphed over Euroa.
The three-time Wellman medallist could still hardly believe the magnitude of what she had just achieved.
