On Tuesday, April 18, Shepparton Art Museum hosted Culture and Co’s second annual iftar event.
Iftar is a communal meal and breaking of fast for the Muslim community.
Ramadan finished for Muslims worldwide, and community members across the Goulburn Valley have begun Eid celebrations.

The First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria will have a change of leadership in its next term.
Bangerang and Wiradjuri Elder Aunty Geraldine Atkinson confirmed she would not contest the Assembly’s next election.
Aunty Geraldine’s co-chair, Marcus Stewart a Nira illim bulluk man of the Taungurung Nation, will also stand down.

Five people died after a horrific crash near Strathmerton on Thursday in the state’s worst fatal collision in 11 years
A Mercedes travelling on Labuan Rd failed to give way while turning causing a car to spin out and hit a truck.
The driver of the Mercedes had been pulled over minutes earlier by police on Labuan Rd and charged with speeding.
