Last weekend a contingent from the GV starred for Vic Country in the annual clash against its metro opponents.
There was district flavour in the men’s and women’s outfits as the two sides triumphed over their rivals on Sunday.

Deadline to apply for local Optus business grants approaching

The window of opportunity for local businesses to secure an Optus grant is fast closing.
The deadline is Sunday, April 30.
$15,000 is being offered to five businesses in the form of $3000 each to help them carry out a technology audit.

Fears government cuts will lead to higher long-term health costs

The primary health sector says cuts announced by the Victorian Government will cost more money in the long-term.
The Andrews Government will cut health promotion funding to rural, regional and metropolitan Community Health services
The cut will be an average of 10 per cent.
