Echuca-Moama locals rip it up at State Wakeboard Titles

Moama’s Clodagh Jeffreys notched back-to-back State Wakeboard Titles at the Victoria Summer Series at Lake Eildon.
Jeffreys took out the 2023 Victorian State Title in the 10-14 girls category with a score of 39.78.
She was awarded the Rising Star award for her efforts.

Postie bikes to deliver vital funds

Fifty riders will go on the Great Postie Bike Adventure ride to raise funds for cancer support services.
Funds raised will go to Echuca Regional Health and Launceston Northern WP Holman Clinic Trust.
The riders will be travelling for four days across north-west Tasmania.

Council seeks Federal Disaster Ready Fund allocation

Council endorsed a $357,000 allocation in the 2023-24 budget to support its Emergency Management Victoria application.
The application is seeking $1.088 million in funding through the Federal Government’s Disaster Ready Fund.
This will increase the council and community’s capacity to prepare for, and respond to future flood-related disasters.
