Man jailed for shooting a man in a Mooroopna street

The court heard two men went to a man’s Shepparton house, as that man owed one of them money on September 7, 2021.
Adam Hasan, 38, of Shepparton, pleaded guilty in court to intentionally causing injury and possessing a firearm.
The victim was taken to GV Health before being flown to the Alfred Hospital, where he had surgery for a lung injury.

Rights group founded in GV backs Yes in referendum

The Rights, Information and Advocacy Centre has backed the Yes campaign in the upcoming referendum.
The group supports and advocates for people with disabilities, their carers and communities.
They said a Yes vote would be a significant step towards reconciliation.
