Hone storms home for Oceania Championships silver

Echuca cycling sensation Levi Hone won silver in the under-19 road race at the 2023 Oceania Cycling Championships.
In the first lap of the 83km road race, Hone formed part of a three-man breakaway with Will Heath and Josiah Grierson.
Hone secured the silver medal in a performance that will certainly put his name on the radar of professional teams.

In addition, Echuca Toyota also won four other awards which accumulated in them winning the National President’s Award
This is the second time winning this award as they were also the recipient of the National President's Award in 2019.

Reinvigorating cultural fire

Three of the region’s Traditional Owner groups will participate in Victorian Government’s Cultural Fire Grants program
This supports Aboriginal Victorians caring for Country with land management, enhancing cultural, environmental values.
Two of the groups funded are Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation and Bangerang Aboriginal Corporation.
