Echuca Moama Discovery Day on Saturday

Local residents are encouraged to come along to Echuca Library on Saturday for the annual Echuca Moama Discovery Day.
The event will showcase more than 50 groups from Echuca Moama and surrounds.
Attending will be local service and sporting clubs, singing, art, craft, history groups and more.

Echuca athletes hold their own at Special Olympics competition

The ‘Flame of Hope’ recently went through Echuca for the Special Olympics.
Echuca police officers and Law Enforcement Torch Run members guided the flame through the Murray region.
Across the week, competitors from Echuca and Melbourne competed in swimming and bocce competitions.

Two GVL clubs withdraw junior sides from season

Two Goulburn Valley League clubs pulled out from fielding teams in junior competitions on the eve of the 2023 season.
Tatura will not field an under-18 football side, while Benalla will not enter a team in the 15-and-under netball grade
Teams due to play those two sides now face a bye and those games would be treated as forfeits by Benalla and Tatura.
