O’Keeffe calls for flood payments to be delivered

State Member for Shepparton Kim O’Keeffe called on the Victorian Government for flood relief payments for residents.
In parliament last week, Ms O’Keeffe asked why qualified recipients of funding were yet to see that money.
Ms O'Keeffe's had small business owners contact her, still trying to recover from COVID-19 when the flooding hit.

Land acquisition for stormwater drainage at Grahamvale

Greater Shepparton City Council is taking steps to acquire part of a Grahamvale land block for storm water drainage.
This will allow for future residential in the area.
The land is part of the Shepparton North East Precinct which will accommodate up to 1500 new residential properties.

Yoorrook hearings into child protection and criminal justice systems resume

The Yoorrook Justice Commission will restart hearings on Wednesday, March 1.
It will hear from First Peoples parents whose children have been removed, carers and members of the Stolen Generations
The second week, commencing March 6, will centre on Victoria’s criminal justice system.
