GBCMA says ‘no impact’ on response, planning due to flood gauge discrepancy

- In the 2022 floods, the Goulburn River gauge at Shepparton was out by as much as 8cm compared to the 1974 level gauge.
- The adjusted height would make the October 2022 flood peak at 12.14m, higher than the 1974 flood peak of 12.09m.
- The Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority has said this did not impact flood response during the floods.
