Illicit tobacco uprooted in joint raids at Nathalia and Katunga

Illicit tobacco, has been destroyed after raids at Nathalia and Katunga.
After searching a property in Nathalia on Tuesday, February 21, officers discovered 15.5ha of illicit tobacco crops.
Raids the following day at a property in Katunga, uncovered around 2.4ha of tobacco crops.

Opposition and crossbench combine to call flood inquiry

Goulburn Valley residents have an opportunity to make submissions to an inquiry into last year’s devastating floods.
The Coalition and crossbench combined successfully in Victorian parliament to have the matter investigated.
The Legislative Council’s Environment and Planning Committee will report by June 30, 2024, on a broad range of issues.
