Police plead with regional motorists to take care after deadly January

Victoria Police is asking motorists to take care on regional roads following a massive spike in lives lost this year.
The Opposition has slammed the Victorian Government for the state of regional roads.
The latest figures listed 24 lives lost in collisions on rural roads as of January 30.

Rochester schools benefit from thousand dollar donations

Three schools in Rochester have been given over $7000 by Major’s IGA Rochester for their efforts during the floods.
Rochester Secondary School, Rochester Primary School and St Joseph’s Primary School all received $2349.42 each.
A percentage of every purchase at Major’s IGA goes towards their community chest program, which is donated every year.
