Farmers fear Greens Lake flood

Farmers downstream of Greens Lake fear they could be flooded.
Goulburn-Murray Water has been spilling water from the Waranga Western Channel into Lake Cooper and Greens Lake.
The two Corop lakes are not formal storages, and the Greens Lake pumps have been decommissioned.

Drink driver allegedly more than six times the alcohol limit

A driver has returned an alleged blood alcohol concentration of 0.308, more than six times the legal alcohol limit.
The driver, a woman from Moama, was stopped by Echuca police on Ogilvie Ave.
The woman was immediately disqualified from driving and will be required to appear in court/

Early voting began on Monday for the 2022 Victorian State election.
For the seat of Murray Plains, the Early Voting Centre is located at 200 Pakenham Street, Echuca.
