Coalition pledges to unlock 50,000 housing lots in regional Victoria

- The Victorian Coalition has pledged it will help unlock 50,000 lots from bureaucratic limbo in regional Victoria.
- It would help create more homes and ease housing pressure should it win the state election on November 26.
- Mr Guy said the land was waiting in limbo and would be approved all across the state.

Murray crays find saving grace

- More than 1000 Murray crayfish from Echuca, Barham, Torrumbarry and Swan Hill have been rescued and re-homed.
- The crays were exposed to plummeting oxygen levels in the Murray River.
- The native river species had been seen emerging from the water to escape poor conditions.
