Luke Slater runs 350km to finish third in GV Last Man Standing Backyard Ultra

Shepparton’s Luke Slater ran 52 loops and 350km at the GV Backyard Ultra, finishing third after 52 hours on foot.
Supported by family and friends, Slater beat his previous ultra record by 11 hours and secured a world ranking.
The gruelling run left him battered but boosted his spot to fourth on Great Britain’s 2026 Backyard Ultra team list.
