Horse breeder permanently banned from owning horses over animal cruelty charges

- Gavan James Pratt, 60, of Girgarre, pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges in Shepparton Magistrates' Court.
- Pratt was ordered to pay more than $70,000 in costs after the RSPCA seized 109 horses from his two properties.
