Truck driver’s wardrobe malfunction causes crash

On June 5, 2024, the man was driving a 43-tonne Volvo prime mover at 70km/h on River Rd, Kialla.
Prosecutor Leading Senior Constable Anna Hanlon said the jumper got stuck over his head, causing the crash.
The truck sideswiped one tree, drove into a table drain, and then hit another tree head-on.
