Drink-driver reports crime, gets caught

A drink-driver was caught after he drove to a police station to report another matter, a court has heard.
James McDonald, 21, formerly of Mooroopna, pleaded guilty in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court to drink-driving.

Greater Shepparton City Council is seeking children’s book donations from the community for Best Start’s Book Drive.
Council has contributed to the book drive for the past five years, collecting over 1500 books so far.
Collection is now open and will close on Friday, August 23.
