Numurkah business suffers $30,000 loss in tobacco burglary

About $30,000 worth of tobacco was stolen from a Numurkah business at the weekend.
The break-in occurred about 4am on Sunday, August 4, when two male offenders forced their way into the building.
Once inside, they took a substantial amount of tobacco while also causing damage to the cigarette cabinet.

Gun held as man beaten in Shepparton carjacking, court hears

One man had a gun while a man was beaten with baseball bats or metal poles during a Shepparton carjacking.
The victim was hit in the legs, arms and head, and his leg was broken in the attack.
Mr O’Donnell will return to court in November.
