Repeat offender faces court

A man who was driving without a licence has been fined in court.
Asil Batkonan, 34, of Kialla, pleaded guilty in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court to disqualified driving.
Batkonan’s car was not impounded.

Mini-bus driver ‘wandered’ off road several times

The driver of a mini-bus was involved in a fatal crash at Arcadia South, where an Echuca woman died.
Had veered off the road and into the gravel several times before the crash, a court has heard.
A 40-year-old woman, who was a passenger, died at the scene.
