Easter Bunny gets baled up at Tongala

- An illumination station was added to the attractions for this year’s Easter edition of hay bale art in Tongala.
- The added attraction features a bunny and eggs and is certain to bring more people to the town.
- It's "a very sustainable celebration". The hay bales will be used at Rick’s farm after the event.

Councillor accused of making ‘fisticuff’ threats towards another councillor

- Murray River councillor Tom Weyrich walked out of a council meeting on Tuesday.
- The discussion on a motion passed at the February meeting said Cr Weyrich needed to resign or apologise.
- When asked if Cr Weyrich will be at a function that night, his response was ‘There could be fisticuffs there tonight'.

Purple Day brings passion for epilepsy awareness

- Shirley O’Bree held her annual morning tea to raise money for epilepsy research and awareness.
- As part of Make March Purple for Epilepsy, Ms O’Bree raised over $2700 by selling purple merchandise.
- Funds raised will go towards Epilepsy Australia.
