Strathbogie to get new council in October elections

Annabelle Cleeland says she’s had confirmation when the administration of Strathbogie Shire Council will end.
An interim administrator was appointed by Victorian Local Government Minister Melissa Horne late last year
Ms Cleeland said a new council would be elected during October’s elections.

Blue-green algae status change for Tatura’s Lake Bartlett

There has been a positive development in the blue-green algae status of Lake Bartlett in Tatura.
Council has removed a warning issued following a significant decline in blue-green algae levels in the lake.
The warning for Lake Bartlett was issued on January 15.

Euroa Health members vote to endorse proposal and enact change

It has been proposed Euroa Health’s bed-based acute care hospital services be taken over by Goulburn Valley Health.
The proposal received unanimous support at a special meeting on Thursday night.
The recommendation was brought forward by a joint steering committee of Euroa Health and GV Health representatives.
