Show Us Ya Wheels Numurkah is kicking into gear for another year of hot-rods, vintage motors, and entertainment for the whole family.

With over 8000 people attending last year’s event, Club president Dean said there will be plenty on offer for everyone on the day.

Making a special feature, Peter Brock’s genuine XU-1 Torana will be coming up from Shepparton’s Museum of Vehicle Evolution for the day.

A plethora of food and drink options will keep visitors well satiated throughout the day, with local businesses opening their doors across town.

Three of the Numurkah Historical Society’s Carefull Cobber Cars will make an appearance on the day, including the very green car in which King Charles and Princess Diana rode while visiting Shepparton in 1983.

For those who wish to tune in on the action of the weekend’s Bathurst Race, a projector screen will be available.

Stalls for face tattoos and a jumping castle mean that the entire family will be entertained.

Shepparton’s Michael Hogan and the Rockers, alongside Melbourne’s Atomic High Tones, will provide the tunes from centre stage.

Readers can also catch the Atomic High Tones at the Shamrock Hotel on Saturday night.

The event will be preceded by a ‘Roll the Dice’ joyride through on Saturday, October 12.

Punters can join the cruise starting in Numurkah, passing through Katunga and Waaia, before finishing at the Numurkah Hotel.

A $10 vehicle admission fee - including a driver - applies for those who wish to enter their vehicle into the show.

Under-16s enter free, while general admission is $5.

The event will be held at Melville St, Numurkah, on Sunday, October 13, from 8am.
