Elderly victim loses $32,000 after robbery, police claim

A 90-year-old man allegedly had $32k transferred out of his bank accounts while he was asleep in his Mooroopna house.
Police allege the man’s Mooroopna home was broken into about 6am on Thursday.
A Shepparton man, 20, has been charged with multiple counts, including aggravated burglary.

Government has lost sight of vision-impaired service in Shepparton, according to local

As a person with low vision, Peter Eastaugh is frustrated with the lack of traffic signal maintenance in Shepparton.
He has notified local council for more than a year but says nothing has been done.
Victorian Department of Transport and Planning have stated they receive routine maintenance service every six months.
