Boy has surgery in Melbourne after Shepparton CBD stabbing

Shepparton police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing of a 14-year-old boy in the CBD.
He was stabbed in the stomach and taken to GV Health in a serious but stable condition, then flown to Melbourne.
A 17-year-old male suspect was arrested and interviewed by police but later released pending further inquiries.

Pine Lodge grave backflip

Decision to change the layout of headstones on graves at Pine Lodge Cemetery has officially been overturned.
Remembrance Park Central Victoria infrastructure committee members voted to change the headstones back to angled ones.
The backflip is a welcome one for Shepparton resident Ray Cox whose father is buried in the row in question.
