Manhunt the biggest in Victoria for eight years

The three-day manhunt for gunman Stanley Turvey spanned northern and north-east Victoria and southern NSW, has ended.
On Wednesday at Ardmona, Special Operations Group police confronted Mr Turvey, who was allegedly armed.
Subsequently, SOG shot him. First aid was provided and paramedics declared him dead at the scene.

World’s Greatest Shave: St Mary’s students raise $13k for Leukaemia Foundation

Ten Year 6 students from St Mary’s Primary, Echuca, raised more than $13k taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave.
Fellow students, teachers and family watched on in delight as the boys had their heads shaved for the fundraiser.

Dalton’s thoughts on NSW Budget

Independent Member for Murray Helen Dalton has welcomed the increased education spending in the 2023 NSW Budget.
“306 teachers and support staff will be upgraded from casual to permanent employment positions in Murray”
Mrs Dalton welcomed an extra $43 million to repair damaged roads in Murray, as well as cost of living relief.
