St Mary’s students to lose locks

Year 6 students from St Mary’s Primary will lose their locks as part of the World’s Greatest Shave.
They are passionate about finding a cure for cancer as fellow student Ryder had leukaemia when he was younger.
“We were able to reach the first of $5000 and in the next two weeks we want to pass the $10,000 mark."

Ready, Teddy, Go! for holiday fun

During this school holidays the Echuca Historical Society Inc is holding a display called Ready, Teddy, Go!
The society is putting the call out for anyone who could “lend” the group a teddy to be part of the display.
Ready, Teddy, Go! will be on display at the Echuca Historical Society Museum from September 15 to October 1.

Echuca-based John Paterson officiated his 500th senior game on Saturday,
In his 27 years, he's umpired grand finals in the GV, Murray, Kyabram and Picola District leagues.
“No, I won’t give it away yet ... (I'll) come back and take every game as it goes now."
