Goulburn Valley company fined for burning waste

A Byrneside company has been fined $9000 by the Environmental Protection Authority for burning waste.
EPA officers went to the demolition business’s premises on April 1.
This was in response to a fire attended by fire crews earlier in the morning.

GMCU welcomes ‘well-balanced’ budget

Donate blood this National Volunteer Week

Lifeblood has marked National Volunteer Week by thanking Shepparton locals who regularly donate blood or plasma.
Together they have made more than 3000 donations in 2023.
This has helped to save the lives of up to 9000 people in hospital needing blood.
