Echuca College student aims to reduce plastics in Victorian schools

Echuca College’s Isobel Currey is playing her part in a new survey on single-use plastics.
The Year 9 student is a member of the Zoos Victoria Youth Program.
The program is aimed at young people to help them understand animal conservation and sustainability.

Loch Garry levees to be fixed

Levees at Loch Garry damaged during the October 2022 floods are due to be repaired this winter.
Peter Clydesdale said repairing the levees would ensure the water authority met its ongoing obligations.
Loch Garry protects 116 landholders from minor and moderate floods.
