O’Keeffe says more can be done to stop teacher shortages

State Member for Shepparton Kim O’Keeffe says Victoria’s chronic teacher shortages are no surprise.
Ms O'Keeffe said that stakeholders were facing ongoing challenges in trying to offset the shortfall of teachers.
Of the educators that had been surveyed, 79 per cent said the additional workloads were unsustainable.

New findings from the Australian Sports Commission AusPlay survey

Australians are spending $12.5 billion on sports and physical activities for those aged over 15.
The recent survey asked 20,000 respondents about their participation in physical activity, as well as the fees paid.
The survey found that males aged 15 and over spent more on sports-related activities than females.
