Coaches replace trains on Echuca line

Coaches have now replaced trains on the Echuca line.
The changes came into effect on Sunday, April 30, and will remain in place until Wednesday, June 21.
V/Line is asking passengers to allow up to 50 minutes extra for the journey while services are disrupted.

Telecommunication funding in Nicholls still a sore spot

New mobile telecommunication infrastructure investment in the federal electorate of Nicholls continues to hit a wall.
Federal Member for Nicholls Sam Birrell, was in Avenel on April 27, with the Federal Shadow Communications Minister.
He expressed concerns about the fund allocation from the last round of Federal Government’s Mobile Black Spot Program.
