Two charged following pursuit of stolen vehicle in Moama

Two men have been charged with several offences after allegedly being involved in a police pursuit in Moama.
When the owner, tried to stop the vehicle, he was allegedly assaulted before the vehicle was driven away.
The men were refused bail to appear at Albury Local Court on Thursday, March 9.

Police call on community to ‘be part of the solution’

Inspector Paul Huggett of the Murray River Police says that "the community will get the crime that it condones.”
He grows increasingly aware of people not reporting crimes, however big or small they be.
“If you want a solution then supply that footage and a report to the police,” he said.
