- Through mosquito monitoring, council has detected the majority of those being trapped are a disease-carrying species.
- Residents are being reminded to cover up, follow health advice and remove potential mosquito breeding sites around.

Shepparton-Wanganui Lions Club gifts furry friends to local ambulance branch
- Paramedics will be gifting stuffed animals to those in need this month thanks to Shepparton-Wanganui Lions Club.
- The club delivered a pile of plush animals to Shepparton’s Ambulance Victoria branch on Wednesday February 15.
- This was part of a bi-annual project that aims to give back to local emergency services groups.

Priority Primary Care Centre to ease burden on GV Health Emergency Department
- Greater Shepparton residents are now able to access a newly opened Priority Primary Care Centre.
- The centre will be for urgent but non-life-threatening medical conditions such as mild infections, fractures and burns
- It is located at the Shepparton Medical Centre in Graham St opposite Goulburn Valley Health.
