Hookin2 Hockey program set to descend on Shepparton

A new hockey program is set to hit Shepparton Sports Precinct’s smurf-turf this weekend.
The program goes for eight weeks teaching kids hockey skills. The first session is a free come and try session.
Hookin2 Hockey, which is run state-wide by Hockey Victoria, begins on February 11 at 9am.

Second person dies following Creightons Creek crash

A second person has died in hospital following a car crash at Creightons Creek, near Longwood, last month.
It’s believed a vehicle was travelling along the Hume Fwy and veered off the road, crashing into a tree on January 20.
The passenger died at the scene, the driver was taken to hospital in a critical condition where he died this week.
