Businesses adjusting to upcoming plastic ban

From Wednesday, February 1, certain single-use plastic items will be banned from sale and supply in Victoria.
Local businesses are adjusting and making the transition to more sustainable and recyclable materials.
Since the ban was announced the government has provided grants to pilot sites to help replace their single-use items.

Families were left devastated by the removal of personal keepsakes from the graves without any warning or consultation
This has come after Remembrance Parks Central Victoria’s proposal to increase prices for internment and cremation.

Bomb threatens to blow the ‘crap’ out of Seymour toilet block

A bomb was placed in a disabled toilet of the public toilet block located on Anzac Ave.
Police attended the scene confirming the package at the back of the toilet unit was an improvised explosive device.
The bomb was safely defused, however the person who placed it there is yet to be identified.
