Swan to suit up for Easter weekend blockbuster

Former Collingwood star Dane Swan will play for Picola and District Football League club Mathoura's Timbercutters.
The 2011 Brownlow Medallist will play on Easter weekend Saturday, April 8, for a one-off appearance against the Blues.
Supporters will be hoping Swan can inspire a win early in the season for Mathoura.

Echuca swimmers make a splash at long course championships

An Echuca Swim Club trio competed in the 2023 Victorian Country Long Course Championships.
Emily McMillan, Jack Hawkins, and Charlotte Wilson walked away with new personal best times.
The trio was competing against 37 other country swimming clubs in Wangaratta from January 21 to 23.

Moama named McMahon Shield grand final host for next two seasons

Moama Recreation Reserve will host Goulburn Murray Cricket’s top-grade grand final on March 11 and 12.
This is the seventh time in the league’s 10-year history that the showpiece game will be held there.
Grand final venues for B, C and D-grade have also been confirmed for across the region.
