Poor quality of raw water impacting taste and odour, Coliban Water says

There's been a variation in odour and taste of the drinking water for Murray, Goulburn and Campaspe River consumers.
Elevated levels of a naturally occurring compound called geosmin have been detected in Echuca.
Coliban Water has undertaken rigorous testing and has indicated the water is presently safe to consume.

Junior’s blitz Duathlon course on Echuca Moama Multisport Weekend

Fifty junior athletes tackled the short and long duathlon courses on Saturday for the Echuca Moama Multisport Weekend
The short course was 100m run, 3km bike, and 400m run and the long course was 200m run, 6km bike, and 800m run.

NSW Premier rejects regional poker machine exception

Premier Dominic Perrottet has ruled out exempting NSW regional pubs and clubs from its cashless gaming card rollout.
This comes as Nationals MPs call for sensible reform when it comes to poker machines in the bush.
A NSW Crime Commission report found billions of dollars in dirty cash being laundered through the machines every year.
