More parking meters installed in Echuca CBD

Riverine Herald

Campaspe Shire Council has installed 14 “pay and display” parking meters in Echuca’s central business district.
On-street parking meters will be placed on the east end of Anstruther St, Annesley St and Hare St.
Nish street and High street carparks were also areas identified in community feedback as needing another meter.

Bupa says thank you to emergency services

Echuca BUPA Aged Care have thanked volunteers and emergency service personnel for saving the home during the floods.
Volunteers and members of the CFA, SES and state health department were thanked for their assistance and advice.
Echuca SES accepted a cheque for $5000 from Bupa on behalf of the Victorian State Emergency Services.

Two people in hospital after incident on road near Kyabram

Two people were taken to hospital in a stable condition after a road incident near Kyabram on Wednesday.
A car on Webb Rd was turning left on to Curr Rd and a truck had to swerve around it to avoid a collision.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics treated two people at the scene.
