Shepparton horseman David Moran claimed his second Jim Phillips Memorial Cobram Pacing Cup in three years.
His horse, Curly James saluted in the $35,000 feature on Sunday.
The NSW-trained Fire Fox finished third with his stablemate and favourite Lightning Dan finishing fifth.

Victims of fatal accident at Pine Lodge were visiting from overseas

The four men killed in a car crash at Pine Lodge last week were all from India.
They were visiting friends in Shepparton and crashed travelling on Pine Lodge North Rd last Wednesday January 4.
The four passengers of the hatchback died in the crash, while the driver was flown to Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Aircraft on standby to fight fires from above

A fleet of firefighting aircrafts are stationed at prime locations across the region ready to respond to bushfires.
The planes and helicopters are located at Shepparton, Benalla, Mangalore, Mansfield, Albury and the Ovens region.
They'll be used by Forest Fire Management Victoria, CFA and Fire Rescue Victoria.
